A Pivot Table provides information as tables in a spreadsheet, in a way that allows you to summarize data so that relationships are easier to identify, and to allow you analyze the data extensively. Field headings can be manipulated into either column or row formats to change the way in which the report displays the data.
ArteMIS uses Pivot Tables for any report that contains mainly statistical data.
